After an early breakfast, set out for Dirang (approx. 165 km, 5-6 hours), a quaint hill town surrounded by lush valleys. En route, visit the picturesque Tipi Orchidarium, home to a variety of rare orchid species. Continue your drive through scenic landscapes, passing by rivers and quaint villages. Upon arrival in Dirang, check in to your hotel and enjoy the evening exploring the local culture and surroundings. Overnight stay in Dirang.
Post breakfast, drive towards Tawang (approx. 130 km, 6-7 hours), a journey filled with breathtaking views. En route, stop at the famous Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and admire its spectacular beauty. Also, visit the serene Sela Lake and the moving Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to the bravery of an Indian soldier during the 1962 Indo-China War. Spend the day exploring the enchanting sights of Tawang. Visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery, the largest in India, and an important center of Mahayana Buddhism.
